When I was asked to edit this blog by Mark Oakes, the latest incumbent of the 'High Chair' at Bond Worth I was at first sceptical, after all I do not come cheap and the idea of editorial censorship at my age was a complete non sequitur.

To his credit he gave and indeed has given me freedom to look at the world of interiors with an old eye on new trends, that’s a doosey for a girl from New York who still drinks half a bottle of Woodford Bourbon and smokes Turkish tobacco, so if you’re heading to Fifth Avenue any time soon why not come up and see me sometime!
